The Hideaway B and B has a spacious, contemporary en-suite room with double bed and a comfy easy chair which doubles as a full size single bed
which accommodates an adult or child comfortably.
There is flat screen TV, DVD and alarm clock/radio.

Guests also have the convenience of a small kitchenette for the preparation of packed lunches etc. Guests
are welcome to bring takeaways - there are both Chinese and Indian restaurants within 2 minutes drive.
In addition to the tea and coffee making facilities, there is a toaster and small fridge, well stocked with
breakfast items. All are locally produced. Special diets can be catered for - please ask when booking.
Breakfast is Continental - freshly baked bread or croissants can be delivered to your door each morning if

The Area around Kindlers Cottage B and B
Two minutes walk down the lane from Kindlers Cottage B and B one crosses a cattle grid leading into the New Forest.
There are many woodland and moorland tracks for you to explore on foot, cycle or horseback. The Forest is an ancient home to a huge variety of wildlife including Red, Sika and Fallow deer,
the famous wild New Forest ponies, donkeys and even domestic pigs and cattle.
Although called a "Forest", much of the New Forest is open heathland and moorland covered in heather, gorse, bracken and general scrub. The woodland is a mixture of large areas of ancient broadleaved trees
- predominently oak and birch - and more recent, managed coniferous plantations. The Forestry Commission have laid many tracks through these for walking and cycling. Maps are available from the visitor centres.
There are many other recreational opportunities close to Kindlers Cottage Bed and Breakfast in the New Forest;
Hamptworth and Bramshaw golf courses, horse riding, coarse and fly fishing . Lord Montagu's National Motor Museum at Beaulieu with its 300+
vintage vehicles and motoring memorabilia is a great day out. The prehistoric monuments at Stonehenge are only 40 minutes drive.
The beaches at Highcliffe, Milford, Bournemouth and Mudeford are also 30-40 minutes drive. Mudeford Harbour offers fishing, crabbing and deep sea fishing.

Salisbury with its world famous cathedral and tall spire. The town also has many other interesting things to see,
along with lots of shops, tea shops and a wide variety of restaurants.
Wimborne, with its Minster and miniature or 'toy' town;
Bournemouth with its conference facilities, pier and beaches;
Poole with its harbour and boating facilities - and Brownsea Island;
Christchurch with its Abbey ruins and Priory, the harbour and Hengistbury Head with sea views to the Needles and
the Isle of Wight;
Lymington with its street market, marinas and ferries to the Isle of Wight.
Other places you could easily visit:-
Corfe Casle on the Isle of Purbeck, with Swanage and Studland Bay - a beautiful picnic
destination.
Stately homes and gardens - Breamore House, Wilton House and Gardens, Kingston Lacy and Beaulieu House with
the National Motor Museum.
The prehistoric world heritage site of Stonehenge is also within easy reach. |
